We were privileged to be able to interview Ann and Sasha Shulgin just five weeks before Sasha passed away. Sasha’s health had been failing for a while and Ann did the majority of speaking. Sasha had his eyes closed for much of the interview, but he understood everything that was said, often smiling and nodding in agreement when Ann mentioned certain things. It was a moving and inspirational experience for the entire film crew.
